General Information

The small town of Mulino, Oregon hosts a number of historic buildings, all within walking distance.  A golf course lies a half mile from Mulino House Bed and Breakfast. Across the street is a store and deli, and post office to the west of the store. The old Mulino Grange Hall is only a block away. And if you ask, the host will give you a tour. This building dates from 1900.

The Mulino Airport and Airport Café are also within walking distance. The food is good, with friendly staff and down home atmosphere. Two miles away is the Farmstead Inn Restaurant at the Arrowhead Golf Course on the Molalla River. Full service bar and excellent food await you. A variety of good restaurants are within an easy drive. The host will give you suggestions.

A twenty-five minute drive away is the Oregon Garden. The drive is one of many scenic drives in the area. There is something beautiful to view around every curve and over every hill. On the way is Marquam Hill Winery, always a nice stop. The quaint town of Mt. Angel with the breathtaking hillside Abbey is on the way. You will see farming of a variety of crops that have made Oregon agriculture famous.

 Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, The Columbia River Gorge, Silver Creek Falls and countless other spots are easy day trips from Mulino House. We are the hub of beautiful Clackamas County, the Eden at the End of the Oregon Trail.

Gallon House Covered Bridge near Silverton, OR The Gallon House Bridge is the last remaining covered bridge in Marion County and one of the oldest covered bridges in Oregon. The bridge is open to traffic.  According to local tradition, the bridge owes its name to an unauthorized liquor dispensary which operated at the north approach prior to prohibition. During that time, Silverton to the south was a dry town, while Mount Angel to the north was not.
