Welcome to Mulino House Bed and Breakfast! 

Mulino House is a Queen Anne style Victorian built in 1887 from local cedar and fir trees milled in Mulino, Oregon.  Now the farm house is part of an Oregon Century Farm, so designated in 2005.  It was refurbished in 2001 opening as a bed and breakfast in 2002.

 

Mulino House lies in the central part of Mt. Hood Territory and close to dozens of popular destinations.

Mulino House is 35 minutes from Portland Int'l Airport and a relaxing hub for a variety of nearby activities in Metropolitan Portland. 

We are close to many recreational destinations, notably Silver Creek Falls (hiking,picnicing) and Oregon Gardens.

Historic Landmark:

On May 1, 2008, Mulino House was awarded ‘Clackamas County Historic Landmark’ status. The plaque commemorates the Queen Anne style home  built around 1898.

Where is Mulino?

Mulino is a small community located in the northeastern corner of the beautiful Willamette Valley. Nearly equal distance between Salem and Portland, Mulino’s location is close to winter skiing and about 2 hours from the stunning Oregon coast.

The local economy, once based upon the lumber industry and farming, has since been transformed to a rural suburb of commuters, tourists and retirees. Agriculture still plays an important role in the area with nursery stock including an endless variety of shrubs, fruit trees, flowers and the raising of Christmas trees.

Located on state highway 213, bus service is available from 5 am—10 pm daily to Oregon City with connections to downtown Portland and the Portland Airport.

Mulino has a US Post Office, store, deli and gasoline service, a full service beauty salon, Airport Cafe, Ranch Hills Golf Course, Community Church and Mulino Airport

The nearby towns of Molalla, Canby and Oregon City have a variety of restaurants and interesting shops.

Notes about Living at Mulino House

  • Mulino is a small community 10 miles south of Oregon City on Highway 213.  The location is close to Portland and Salem.

  • Two municipal pools and a nearby sport facility, plus two golf courses are minutes away.

  • Shopping, a variety of restaurants, cinemas numerous activities and personal services are readily available.

  • Churches of nearly every faith are close by.

  • Each room has cable and wireless internet access.
